Friday Jams Week Four

It’s Friday which means it’s time for another Friday Jams! I feel like these are my least popular posts, so honestly I’m not sure if I’m going to continue with them on a weekly basis, maybe dropping it down to a once a month type thing. My husband though asked me to continue them, “even if they’re just for [him]”, and I enjoy them, so I don’t know. What are your thoughts?

This is a recap of the five artists I listened to the most over the past week and which of their songs was my favorite. I’ll be pulling all of my data from last.fm, a website that tracks every song you listen to and compiles all the data to give you different stats on your listening trends.

This past week (March 8 through March 14) I listened to a total of 687 songs, 192 less than last week. This just wasn’t a good week for me. I’ve been in a deep valley of depression, and the sound of music has just been too much a lot of the time. Of the music I did listen to though, here are the five artists I listened to the most:

Taylor Swift
60 scrobbles

It’s funny, while I love Blank Space, I don’t consider it one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs, but it’s always one of my most played. I’ve listened to it so much since it’s release that my husband is so tired of it.

dodie
57 scrobbles

Still not over dodie’s sweet voice and personality. Will I ever be? Probably not.

Fit For A King
41 scrobbles

This band was surprisingly absent from last week’s Friday Jams, and I guess my husband couldn’t let that happen again. And of course here I am again wanting a tattoo in the style of the album art.

Jonas Brothers
35 scrobbles

At this point, nobody should be surprised by the Jonas Brothers inclusion on this list. Get used to it. I doubt they’re going anywhere.

Miley Cyrus
35 scrobbles

Thanks to the Jonas Brothers getting back together, I’ve been listening to a lot of the music from my high school days. Miley has always been a favorite, and probably always will be. Even in her wild phase when most people looked down on her, I appreciated her music and respected her.

What music did you listen to this week? Let me know who your favorite artists are so I can hopefully discover some new jams for next week!
