This was a post I saw on Laruen’s blog Bookmark Lit and I thought it was such a fun idea that I had to do it too! I’ll be screenshotting some of the apps I use most on my phone and give you a more personal look at me!

Lock and Home Screens

Lock Screen: Is anybody really surprised that Taylor Swift is my background? This is currently my absolute favorite picture of Taylor and I feel like it fits so perfectly. Typically I prefer darker toned backgrounds, but this one will probably be sticking around for a while.

Home Screen: I feel like most people use different photos for their lock and home background but I can’t do that? Every now and then I’ll give it a try, but it always drives me crazy. This is my core set of apps and they really don’t change too often. Every now and then I’ll slide Homescapes over, when I’m playing it obsessively, but usually it stays on the second page.

Search History: I’ve been into more calm and chill music lately. Elliott is really turning into a go go go toddler so things are always very noisy in my apartment. I love listening to music though, so even when I crave some quiet time, I still need something playing.

Currently Listening: When I started writing this post Vampire Weekend’s new album had literally just come out. I only made it a few songs into it before I changed it to Ashley Tisdale’s newest though. I don’t know if I just wasn’t in the mood for them or what, but it was really boring me. This new album doesn’t seem as fun and upbeat as their others? It honestly could just be I’m so exhausted and not processing things correctly and I’ll definitely be giving it another shot.

Overview: I’m one of those crazy people that refuses to use different shelves. Just give me my ‘Want to Read’ and ‘Read’ shelves and I’ll be happy as a clam. I’ve tried to organize everything into categories before and it was too complicated and overwhelming.

Recently Added: These are the last five books I’ve marked as ‘Want to Read’. Probably the one I’m looking forward to the most from those is Screen Queens. I added Alien: Echo only because I loooooved Mira Grant’s Feed and Deadline (I haven’t read Blackout yet) and I don’t actually know anything about the Alien series. I think they’re movies? I really have no idea.

Duolingo and Notes

Duolingo: I only just started using Duolingo to learn Spanish and I’m really loving it so far! In high school I took two years of Spanish but was really horrible at it. Honestly I think the only reason I made A’s both years was because my teachers pitied me. Apparently though I remember more than I thought I would because so far everything has pretty much just been a refresher.

Notes: Some people use tabs when reading books for review, but I use my notes app. Any time I find a quote I love or want to remember something to include when I’m writing my review it goes in here. I really don’t know what that new day same routine one is except just looking at it I can tell what a mood it is. I, too, am feeling the zzz’s day in and day out.
