My wrap up was supposed to be up yesterday, but I’ve been sick and didn’t get it finished in time. June went by quickly and I really can’t believe the year is already halfway over. I swear it still seems like we should be bundling up to keep warm when instead it’s so hot outside that I start sweating before I even open my door. It’s a bit ridiculous. Bring back my sweater weather, please!
Reading
The entire month had me in a huge reading slump, so I was very surprised to see that I read eleven books. I don’t entirely know why I haven’t felt like reading, but I’ve been more into watching Netflix than anything else. Of the books I did read, here are the ones that got four or five stars:
- Stealing Home by Becky Wallace
- Secrets of a Fangirl by Erin Dionne
- Kristy’s Great Idea by Raina Telgemeier
- Hot Dog Girl by Jennifer Dugan
- All Eyes on Us by Kit Frick
Blogging
June was a much better blogging month than May. I still didn’t post every single day (I was close but didn’t have anything go up on three days), but I felt better about everything. It felt like less of a chore and more like something I was doing because I wanted to, and that’s so important. My goals for July are to hit 1,800 page views, have 1,000 visitors, and reach 350 blog followers.
My three most popular posts from the month of June were Shelf Awareness: What to Do When You’re Out of Shelf Space, Ten of My Most Anticipated Releases from the Second Half of 2019, and Ten Unpopular Bookish Opinions. Life

The first half of June was ridiculously busy. We had doctor appointments every single day and things to do every weekend. My husband’s birthday and father’s day are within a couple of days of each other, so that kept us busy too. Birthdays for him and I are usually pretty low key, but this year some of his friends got together and we all went to Dave & Buster’s to celebrate which was a lot of fun. Elliott and I also spent a lot of time outside since that is currently one of his absolute favorite things to do.
How was your June and is there anything you’re looking forward to in July? Let me know in the comments! I’d also love if you let me know what posts you’d like to see more of on my blog.

Seems like you had a pretty good month! Here’s to hoping that July is even better!
