After a few hours traveling, fresh fruit was very welcome! Though we decided to be good and save the sparkling wine until the evening. The suite itself had a sitting room, bedroom and large bathroom with both a bath and a shower. I love it when hotels have a pillow menu so was delighted to see that this was the case here. There was one touch that this hotel provided that I thought was fantastic: beach bags, already packed with flip flops, water bottles and pool towels.
Safe to say we made great use of this at the pool! We had a great view from the balcony: stretching to the restaurant, pool and even all the way to the sea!
Your hotel room rate comes with half board: breakfast and dinner are both included in the rate, which we thought was truly excellent. The restaurant is split inside and out, and as it was beautiful weather, we were able to sit outside for every meal.
Each and every detail had been taken care of: down to the beautiful lavender on all the tables and local lavender being given to each guest upon departure.
The hotel is an adult only resort which meant it was entirely peaceful, and made the grounds a wonderful place to take a nice post lunch walk. I booked a spa tester: a half hour facial and a half hour back and shoulder massage. After an afternoon of exploring our new surroundings, lunching and pool-enjoying, we headed back to our suite and enjoyed our bottle of sparkling wine on the terrace, before heading down for dinner.
