Contact Admin. For low season, the pictures that you see are the closed portion of the hotel. There is no Disco, no Gym, only one a la carte that sucked , one pool and no swim up bar. Im use to Cuban fare, together my wife and I have been there 17 times and the food here is absolutely aweful. Seriously, I laugh when people new to Cuba say Cuban food is crap, but this was the worst of the worst. I really ate white rice for dinner 4 nights Service, made good, bartenders good, animation staff pretty good, front desk amazing but the wait staff in the restuarant was really bad.
My wife and I would get drinks before going to the resturaunt. We were asked 4 times if we wanted something to drink. The worst part was the sex trade. The vaction spot was beautiful. Mountains and ocean was awesome. But due to young hookers bait and switch resort and aweful aweful food, I will never go to an other Club Amigo or fly Sunwing. This was my second visit to Marea, but my 5th visit to Cuba. Marea has been my favorite destination in Cuba. This is definitly a place not for everyone. This is a picturesque , very small town hidden jem in the mountains Sierra Maestra with ocean view of course. There is the bigger hotel Forillon , which I have not stayed at and there is the smaller Club Amigo hotel with cabanas. The cabanas are a nice touch, right by the ocean. Imagine hearing the ocean while you lie in bed at night What can you say about cuban food..
