Monthly Wrap Up: June 2019

My wrap up was supposed to be up yesterday, but I’ve been sick and didn’t get it finished in time. June went by quickly and I really can’t believe the year is already halfway over. I swear it still seems like we should be bundling up to keep warm when instead it’s so hot outside that I start sweating before I even open my door. It’s a bit ridiculous. Bring back my sweater weather, please!

Reading

The entire month had me in a huge reading slump, so I was very surprised to see that I read eleven books. I don’t entirely know why I haven’t felt like reading, but I’ve been more into watching Netflix than anything else. Of the books I did read, here are the ones that got four or five stars:

Monthly Wrap Up: May 2019

What. A. Month. May was so ridiculous. It seemed to drag on for forever but also passed really fast? I don’t even know. I’m so glad it’s over and June is here and I’m really crossing my fingers it will be a better month.

Reading

I read twelve books in May and the majority of them were really good! Most of the books ended up being read during the week long readathon I participated in. I know why I didn’t read much at the end of the month (I’ll talk about it down below in the life section), but I don’t really know what happened at the beginning. Here are my four and five star books from the month:

Monthly Wrap Up: April 2019

Where the heck did April go?! I swear I didn’t realize it was ending until like two days before the end of the month. Literally just a few days before I had looked at all the books I’d read so far in the month and patted myself on the back and thinking what a great reading month it would be since we still had half a month to go. Clearly I did not have my life together in April.

Monthly Wrap Up: March 2019

Oooh, boy. March was the longest month of the year so far. I kind of thought it would never end? I went through a pretty rough depression spell around the middle of the month, but other than that things were pretty good! Keep reading for a detailed breakdown of how things went.

Reading

March was such a good reading month for me! Honestly, this was such a relief after February. I read a total of 22 books, which puts me at 62 for the year, which also means I met my Goodreads reading goal! When I made my reading goal for the year, I honestly thought I would be struggling to finish it, but I’ve been tearing through everything I can get my hands on lately. Here are my 4 and 5 star reads from the month:

Monthly Wrap Up: February 2019

I really don’t understand how it’s now only the third month of 2019 because it feels like we’ve been here for yeeeeaaaars. Really though I can’t complain too much since 2019 truly is blessing us so far (hello, Jonas Brothers reunion!) and I hope that trend continues. As we welcome in March, here’s a look at how my February went.
