Celebrating Sweater Weather with the Autumn Tag

I don’t think anybody is more ready than I am for cool autumn days where I can curl up in my favorite sweater with a hot pumpkin spice latte. Those are the days I live for. The days that feed my soul. The days that I anxiously await every year.

They haven’t quite arrived yet in my part of the world but they are getting close! To celebrate I’ll be completing The Autumn Tag that was created by Jenn from Jenniely!

Hot chocolate – what is your comfort book?

I feel like I kind of have a lot of comfort books – Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, If I Stay by Gayle Forman, Confess by Colleen Hoover, Harry Potter. On any given day I can hug one of these books to my heart and feel warm fuzzy feelings.

Taylor Swift’s Lover Book Tag [Original]

Lover has been on repeat since it’s release and I’m head over heels in love with it! I was planning on doing a post where I matched a book up with each song but it seemed like a million people were already doing that so I thought why not make a book tag instead?

Rules

  • Know somebody who loves Taylor? Tag them! If you don’t know of anybody though, that’s okay too, you should still do the tag!
  • There is a prompt for each song but don’t feel pressured to do them all!
  • Link back to this post so Mari will get a notification that you did it and can come see your answers! Also because crediting creators is nice.
  • Feel free to use any of the graphics or make your own if you want!

Hungry by H.A. Swain is one of my least favorite books. The premise is interesting but the execution was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. And what was that ending?! A dumpster fire.

20 Questions Book Tag

There was a different post planned for today on the importance of showing love for backlist titles but life happened and I didn’t get it written so here’s a book tag instead!

I saw this tag from Beth at Fuelled by Fiction and thanks to Fadwa from Word Wonders I found that it was originally created by buydebook on Goodreads.

How many books is too many books in a book series?

Honestly I prefer standalones but if I’m going to read a series I like for it to be just three books.

Rapid Fire Book Tag

It’s Friday and oh I am so thankful! My birthday is on Tuesday so I’m hoping it won’t be too hot this weekend to take a trip to the zoo. For now, though, here’s the Rapid Fire Book Tag!

This was originally created by GirlReading over on YouTube. A huge thank you to the always wonderful Tate from bookishconstellations for “formally” tagging me in this! The goal is to answer these questions with the first thing that comes to mind. Tate timed herself and since I’m super competitive I’ll be doing the same because I have to beat her.

*Disclaimer: I’m watching Dance Moms while I try to complete this so I’m kind of sabotaging myself and if I don’t beat Tate I have nobody to blame but myself.*

E-Book or Physical Book?

The Reader Problems Tag

I know I usually post reviews on Mondays, but I have several coming your way on other days this week, so I thought I’d do something different today! This tag was originally created by About To Read on YouTube and I found it on Destiny’s blog, Howling Libraries.

You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?

Well…how presumptuous, and totally correct, of you to assume my TBR is so huge. If I’m reading an ARC, then I look at my post schedule and read whichever one is due for review first. Non-review copies are chosen by whatever mood I’m in since I’m the hugest mood reader you’ll ever meet in your life.
